Fisher V280 Full-Bore Ball Control Valve
The Fisher V280 is a three-piece, trunnion mounted, full-bore control valve capable of handling full CL900 pressure drops. It is designed with features for optimized pressure, flow, and process control. An optional drilled attenuator controls noise and vibration from high pressure drop liquids and gases.
FEATURES
1.Aerodynamic Performance: Up to -20 dBA acoustical attenuation can be achieved for the V280 with Aerodome within a single stage construction.
2.Improved Service Life: The attenuator is not part of the seal assembly. The seal wipes the ball surface, not the attenuator, promoting increased service life.
3.Construction Versatility: All parts are interchangeable. The valve construction can be altered by adding/removing a dome attenuator and/or seal.
4.Thoroughly Tested: Valve construction cycle and flow tested in laboratory subject to full CL900 pressure drops and beyond full expected life
5.Design Simplicity: Tailpieces are the same no matter what seal and dome quantity is chosen.
